MICA’s MA Social Design program prepares students to use design as a tool for social change. 

I led the graduate program as interim director in 2024-25, and am serving as full-time faculty in 2025-26. Under my leadership, we:
  • Secured nearly $50K in support from grants and new collaborators, including the Bloomberg American Health Initiative, the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center and Ignite Capital
  • Re-launched the nascent graduate fellowship program, securing five externally-supported positions with Baltimore-based organizations
